Norsewood Build-Ops

End-user license agreement

Permission to use Build-Ops

Norsewood Homes permits its authorized staff and invited collaborators to access Build-Ops for Norsewood construction projects and related business activities, subject to the permissions granted to each user. This is a limited, nonexclusive permission to use the service. It does not transfer ownership of the app or authorize access to other users' accounts or restricted records.

Accounts and information

Use your own authorized account and protect passwords and access links. Upload or enter only information you have authority to provide. Do not use Build-Ops to gain unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, introduce malicious files, or disclose another person's restricted information. Report suspected unauthorized access to ryan@norsewoodhomes.com. Administrators may change or suspend permissions when project needs or account security require it.

You retain any ownership rights you have in material you provide. You allow Norsewood Homes and its service providers to process and store that material as needed to operate Build-Ops, provide its enabled features, and maintain recovery copies, as described in the privacy policy.

Estimates, scanning, and accounting

Review estimates, document scans, classifications, bids, invoices, payment matches, and draw calculations before relying on them or approving accounting actions. Automated extraction can misread a document. Displayed amounts depend on the records entered, connection status, synchronization, and mappings. A bid, an invoiced amount, and a paid amount describe different stages and may differ.

Only an appropriately authorized administrator may connect a QuickBooks company or change connection settings. Intuit's terms govern QuickBooks Online. When integration writes are enabled, approved actions can create or update supported records in the connected company. Connection review mode pauses those accounting changes. Users remain responsible for reviewing records and resolving accounting discrepancies. Build-Ops does not process bank transfers or card payments.

Availability, recovery, and ending access

Build-Ops may be unavailable during maintenance or service interruptions. Save needed records independently and verify that recovery copies are complete. Restoring Build-Ops data does not undo changes made in QuickBooks or revoke previously shared copies of documents.

Users may stop using Build-Ops and contact the administrator to request access removal. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops access through that connection; it does not by itself delete retained project records. The privacy policy describes data handling and requests. These terms do not change separate construction contracts, payment obligations, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
